The following are examples of work I have done for publications and school. In the fall, I will be writing a 25-page thesis to earn my Bachelor of Arts in music, which will be added to this site upon completion. I will be updating this list frequently with new projects.
The Times-Delphic is the student-run newspaper on Drake University’s campus. It is published weekly, with a special edition published during the Drake Relays. I am a copy editor for the paper for the 2017-2018 school year, so I will be making sure all of the articles are accurate and follow AP style. I have also written several stories for the paper about student life and campus events, both for the weekly paper and for the Relays edition.

Iowa Caucus Project Blog
The Iowa Caucus Project blog was run by Drake students and faculty through the Harkin Institute for Public Policy and Citizen Engagement. In January 2016, I took a class about political messaging in the Iowa caucuses and contributed to several posts. The posts were about the Iowa caucuses through the lens of Iowans. The following content was produced by a team of classmates and me.
For more information about this class, please see the Drake news article here.
Through my coursework at Drake University, I have been able to experience telling the stories of numerous Drake students and campus events. I have also gained experience in PhotoShop, inDesign, and Audacity, and am currently working on my Premiere Pro skills. Below are more examples of my writing, as well as a sample CD cover I designed for class.
Below is an audio story I created using Audacity for a multimedia class. In that class, I experimented with Audacity, Premier Pro, and PhotoShop.
I am always looking to tell more people’s stories, or edit other people’s work. For freelance editing or writing, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
